This twin mate’s bed features two large drawers on metal Euro glides with safety stops for smooth operation, ensuring heavy items are securely stored inside. Plywood bottoms add extra stability. Included are twelve wooden slats that can accommodate any standard twin mattress. The bed is not only functional but also beautifully crafted with all wood construction. For added storage, an optional bookcase headboard is available, as well as a safety rail guard for extra security. The 100% pine wood is enriched by a hand-painted finish, giving it a silky smooth feel and spot-free appeal. Available in Mahogany, Honey Pine, or Java colors, it can easily match your interior or complement other pieces from Palace Imports. The bed's overall size is 15”H x 42”W x 76”L, suitable for a standard twin mattress measuring 39”W x 75”L. The construction includes a solid wood rear panel for extra strength, a solid wood center cross tie for additional support, and metal heat-treated bolts connecting rails to posts. Each slat is individually attached to create a strong structure, eliminating the need for a box spring. The slat supports are well-glued and nailed, with no staples used. The two large drawers have interior dimensions of 35”W x 15.25”D x 5.25”H, with metal Euro roller glides for smooth running and heavy load capacity. The face panels feature beveled edges, and the 4 mm plywood bottoms can hold substantial weight. Assembly is made easy with pocket hole butt joints and screws. The bed also includes wood knobs with tenons for a secure hold, although metal antique brass knobs are sold separately. Made of 100% pine wood, the large panels have wood veneer over solid wood for added durability. Pine wood is kiln-dried to prevent splitting and size distortion.
